How do we operate?

Each week one of our editors reads through the Bucks Free Press and other local papers and selects items to be recorded.

 

A team of readers then record these items and a team of copyists transfer them onto memory sticks ready to be posted to each recipient.

 

Thanks to the free service available from the Royal Mail "Articles for the Blind" scheme, there is no charge for postage on these items. Our recipients are able to listen to the recording in the comfort of their own homes, whenever it suits them. When they have finished listening they return the copy to us so that we can use it again.
